Meet the MapToPlay AI Assistant
I have added an AI Assistant that can explain MapToPlay, help you find controls, and answer questions about your account and projects.
Hello everyone.
I have added an AI Assistant to MapToPlay. You can open it in the web interface and inside the Editor.
It can explain how to use the platform, help you find the right button, and answer questions about your limits, projects, tasks, and exports. It knows which MapToPlay page or Editor area you opened it from, so you should not need to explain where you are every time.
Your Choice Comes First
The Assistant is optional. The first time you open it, MapToPlay will ask for your agreement. If you decline, the Assistant stays disabled. You can change your choice later.
When you use it, your question and the relevant MapToPlay context are sent to OpenAI. I have updated the Privacy Policy with clear details about what is sent, what is stored, and how OpenAI processes API data.
Who Can Use It
For now, the Assistant is available to Patreon supporters. Running it has a real cost for MapToPlay, so the first limits are deliberately small.
The daily limit is shared by the whole team and resets each day.
- Plus gets 5 questions per day
- Pro gets 10 questions per day
- Ultra gets 20 questions per day
- Basic does not have Assistant questions yet
Why the Limits Are Small
Honestly, I do not know yet how expensive normal use will be. I would rather start carefully and raise the limits later than promise something I cannot afford to keep.
I will watch real usage and the real bill. My wallet has also requested analytics, and for once I agree with it.
If the numbers make sense, I expect to increase the limits for Patreon supporters. I also want to make the Assistant available on Basic. I cannot honestly guarantee that yet. I need real numbers first.
This Is the First Version
The Assistant will need more polishing. I want it to become a genuinely useful guide, not a chat box that simply sounds confident.
AI can still make mistakes. Please confirm important answers in the documentation. If an answer is wrong or unclear, tell me. That feedback will help me improve both the Assistant and the docs behind it.
Thank you for supporting MapToPlay.
