FS25 PC Radio Control – Use Spotify, YouTube Music and More as Your Farming Simulator 25 Radio

I wanted to listen to my own music while playing Farming Simulator 25, but I did not want to mess around with custom radio streams, playlist files, account linking, or other awkward workarounds. I wanted Spotify to behave like the actual vehicle radio: start when I get into a tractor, pause when I get out, and let me control it without leaving the game.

So I built FS25 PC Radio Control to solve that problem. If you have wanted a simple Spotify or YouTube Music radio mod for Farming Simulator 25, this is my solution—enjoy.

What it does

• Enter a vehicle and your music resumes.
• Leave the vehicle and your music pauses.
• Briefly see the current artist, song, playback state, and connection status inside FS25. The display hides after five seconds and returns when something changes or you use a media control.
• Play/pause, skip to the next track, or return to the previous track with normal FS25 key bindings.
• Prefer Spotify, or follow whichever compatible media player is currently active in Windows.
• Change every hotkey through the normal FS25 Controls/Key Bindings menu.

The mod works with Spotify, YouTube Music in a supported browser, VLC, browser media, and other Windows players that provide system media controls. No Spotify password, API key, browser login, or account connection is requested.

Default controls

• Play/pause: Left Alt + R
• Previous track: Left Alt + Left Arrow
• Next track: Left Alt + Right Arrow

Search for PC radio in the Farming Simulator 25 Controls/Key Bindings menu to change them.

What is included

The download is ready to use and contains:

• The FS25_PCRadioControl.zip mod, ready to copy into your Farming Simulator 25 mods folder.
• The self-contained FS25PCRadioCompanion.exe Windows companion.
• A clear installation, setup, hotkey, troubleshooting, and uninstall guide.

The FS25 mod and Windows companion are both required. The companion connects the vehicle state and in-game controls to the active media player on the same PC.

Requirements

• Farming Simulator 25 for Windows
• Windows 10 version 1809 or newer, or Windows 11
• Spotify, YouTube Music, VLC, or another player that supports Windows system media controls

In multiplayer, each player who wants the feature runs their own companion locally.

Important: unsigned executable

FS25PCRadioCompanion.exe is an independent community application and is not digitally signed. Windows SmartScreen or antivirus software may warn about, quarantine, or block it. Only download it from a source you trust, and only run it if you are comfortable doing so. Do not disable your security software globally. Whether you use the executable is entirely your choice and at your own risk.

Audio limitation

Spotify, YouTube Music, or your other player remains normal Windows audio. Farming Simulator 25 controls playback and displays the current track, but the sound is not spatialized inside the tractor cab. Music volume is controlled through Windows or the media player. Set the built-in FS25 Radio Volume to 0 so both radio sources do not play together.
