Generate 3D Models with Tripo in MapToPlay

I've added Tripo for making 3D models from a short description or photos. A second option alongside Meshy, with more styles to try on your maps.

Hey guys!

I've added Tripo to MapToPlay. You can use it to make a 3D model from a short description, a single photo or a few photos showing an object from different sides.

What I like is how much comes back from a few words. Clean, textured models, and only a couple of minutes of waiting. The six examples below all started as short descriptions, from a farm barn to a little village well. Each took about two to three minutes.

Meshy is still there, exactly as before. Now you can try either and pick the style that suits your map. I like having that choice, especially when I'm after a particular look for a building.

Bring your own Tripo key, then generate on the Models page or in the Editor. The models go into your team's library and can be reused across maps, just like the ones from Meshy.

In my tests, generation used about 20 Tripo credits from text or 30 from pictures, on your own Tripo account.

If you try it, I'd love to see what you make. A map gets a lot more interesting when the buildings have some character of their own.
