A Mods Page, and a Radio for FS25
The mods I write for myself now have a page on the site, and the first one lets Spotify act as the vehicle radio in Farming Simulator 25.
There is a Mods page on the site now.
These are mods I wrote for myself while playing, not releases I planned. They are not on ModHub, and some of them cannot be: a mod that needs a companion program running on your own PC is not something ModHub accepts. The ones that do fit those rules are published there under the same name.
Only my own work is listed. ModHub and the rest of the community already cover everything else, and they do it better than I would.
The First One Is a Radio
FS25 PC Radio Control is up there now. I like Farming Simulator, but after enough hours I had heard every built in station more times than I care to count.
So: get into a vehicle and your own music starts. Get out and it pauses. The current artist and track appear in game for five seconds whenever something changes, and play, pause, next and previous run through the normal FS25 key bindings, so you can rebind them like anything else.
It works with Spotify, YouTube Music in a browser, VLC, and anything else on Windows that supports the system media controls. It never asks for a password, an API key, or an account link.
Two things to know before you install it. The music is still ordinary Windows audio, so it is not spatialized inside the cab and the volume belongs to Windows rather than the game. Set the built in Radio Volume to 0 so you do not get both at once. And the companion program is not signed, so Windows SmartScreen or your antivirus may warn about it or block it. That is normal for a small independent tool, and whether you run it is entirely your call.
You need Farming Simulator 25 on Windows, and Windows 10 version 1809 or newer. In multiplayer each player runs their own companion, so everyone gets their own soundtrack.
