Build a BeamNG.drive Map From the Real World
BeamNG.drive joins MapToPlay with real terrain, roads, bridges, scenery, electricity, and Autogeneration for a quick starting map.

Hey guys!
BeamNG.drive support is here. You can take a real place, shape it in MapToPlay, and export a native map to drive in BeamNG. It took a little longer because I wanted to bring the whole package: roads, bridges, scenery, and the details that make a place feel worth driving through.
The export brings terrain, imagery, ground textures, water, forests, bushes, buildings, grass and flowers, plus the surrounding landscape. You can work on maps from 2 to 16 kilometres across and use your own models too.
Road Constructor handles curves, junctions and roundabouts. Bridge Constructor takes your roads across water and uneven ground. Add markings, signs, guardrails and AI traffic routes, then build out the scenery with electricity towers, poles, connected wires, street lights, fences, gates and rocks. Spawn points, fuel and charging bays, and parking bays are there for the driving side of things.
If you just want a quick starting map, enable Autogeneration when exporting. Like FS25, it fills missing basics: terrain smoothing, ground textures, simple road surfaces, water depth, forests and buildings. Your saved project stays untouched. Results can be rough and depend on the source data, so check them in BeamNG’s World Editor. Detailed roads and bridges still come from the Constructor tools.
Download the export, install the ZIP in BeamNG’s mods folder, and open the map in Free Roam. Please check your roads and scenery in the game before sharing it. I would love to see where you drive first.
Some closed alpha testers may remember that BeamNG was supposed to be the first game I added after FS25. Then I found Mapng and talked with its developer about working together. We had an idea, but it simply did not come together, and BeamNG waited longer than I originally expected.
Seeing your votes on the Games page made it clear I needed to return to it. Your vote counts! And honestly, I am happy with how the delay turned out. BeamNG now gets all the useful tools I have added to MapToPlay along the way. I appear to have taken the scenic route to a driving game.
Cheers!
