What export templates are
Export template collections contain template files used by export generation. They are tracked as collection records with item counts, storage size, ownership, and visibility just like other collection types, but their content is archive/template oriented instead of rule or object oriented.
Templates matter at the end of the workflow. After the Editor state is ready, an export combines project data, layer metadata, selected game target, and supporting collection data into a downloadable artifact.
Managing template content
The Collections page can display export template collections and, for users with management access, the dashboard includes template management controls. The API also exposes template listing, upload, delete, and content download paths.
For ordinary map creation, you usually do not edit export templates directly. You select the project target and export target, then let the export worker use the appropriate template collection behind the scenes.
