Catalog types
Placeable asset collections are indexed catalogs rather than mapping rule sets. The platform currently exposes trees, buildings, electricity, and foliage as item-backed collection types. Each type returns its own item array, and the Collections page previews the items that were imported for that collection.
In the Editor, these catalogs appear in the Collections panel on the right side. The panel switches between collection types with icons so you can browse the available content for the project target game without mixing unrelated object families.
Where they fit in editing
These collections are used when you place or inspect game-specific objects. They do not decide which OSM feature becomes which layer; that is handled by vector mapping. Instead, they provide the object choices available once you are editing or enriching the map.
Because they are game-specific catalogs, the Editor fetches the collection list for the project target game and active team. A Farming Simulator 25 project and a Minecraft project can therefore receive different catalogs even when they belong to the same team.
Custom catalogs
The backend has collection content upload paths for these catalog types, but the current public dashboard workflow does not expose a custom creator for tree, building, electricity, or foliage collections. Treat them as managed libraries unless a project-specific admin import has been added for your team.
If you need map features to enter different layers or categories before object placement, create or edit a custom vector mapping collection rather than trying to change a placeable catalog.
