A team is the top-level container for your workspaces, projects, and members. Resource limits and member access are all scoped to the team.

What a team is

A team brings together the people working on the same set of maps and mods. It holds all the workspaces, projects, and members that belong to it. When you create a MapToPlay account, your personal team is created automatically and you become its owner.

Teams have a name, an optional description, and an optional avatar image. These can be changed from the team settings page at any time.

Members and roles

You can invite other MapToPlay users to your team. Each member is assigned a role that defines what they can do within the team.

Inviting a member does not consume a project slot.

Owner — full control over the team, including member management and all content. Multiple owners are supported.
Admin — can manage team members and all content.
Editor — can create and edit projects, trigger data acquisition tasks, and launch exports.
Viewer — can browse projects and view results, but cannot create or modify anything.

Incognito mode

Eligible teams can enable incognito mode. When active, the team and its content are excluded from public community features and any community-facing listings. This is useful for teams working on private or commercial mods that should not appear publicly.
