Noteboard

Plan a team project on a shared canvas with connected cards, text, lists, tasks, images, videos, mentions, project links, and comments.

Open the team board

Choose Noteboard in the Overview sidebar. The board belongs to the active team, so use the team selector in the header before adding or looking for a card. Everyone with the required team access sees the same saved board.

Drag the empty canvas to pan, use the mouse wheel or the zoom controls to change scale, and use the minimap to jump across a large board. Refresh reloads the shared state when another collaborator made a change that is not yet visible.

Create and organize cards

Select Card in the page header, enter a useful name and optional description, then save. Drag the card by its header to position it and resize it from its resize handle. Changes save to the shared board.

Set a card status to Pending, Discussion, Completed, or Rejected so the board communicates decisions without relying on position alone. Select Manage to view the card list, open an item, or remove cards that are no longer needed.

Drag from a card connection handle to another card to draw a relationship. Select a connection and press Delete or Backspace to remove only that connection.

Add card content

Open a card and add the widget that matches the information: Text for prose, List for an ordered set of items, Todo for checkable work, Images for visual references, or Video for a YouTube reference. Edit a widget, reorder it within the card, or remove it from the widget controls.

In an Images widget, upload supported images or paste an image from the clipboard. In a Video widget, paste the YouTube URL. Keep one decision or workstream per card; use connections to show dependencies instead of creating one oversized card.

Mention people and link projects

Type @ in supported text fields to mention a team member and select the username from the suggestions. The mention makes ownership explicit and can create a notification for that person.

Use the project picker or a # project token to insert a project reference. A project link lets a reader open Details and, when permitted, go directly to the Editor. This is safer than pasting an unrelated browser address because the card keeps a recognizable project reference.

Discuss a card

Open the card comments when discussion belongs to one item. Write the comment, add mentions or attachments when needed, and submit it. Comments preserve the decision beside the plan instead of scattering it across private chats.

Use the notification center in the dashboard header to follow mentions and new Noteboard activity. Mark the card Completed after the work is actually done; status does not run a task or change the linked project.

Limits and safe deletion

The active team tier controls how many cards and widgets the board can hold. If Card or Add widget is blocked, remove obsolete content or open Usage to compare tiers.

Deleting a card also removes its widgets, comments, and board connections. Confirm the target card by name before deleting it; moving or completing a card is the safer choice when the history still matters.
